He qualified as a Registered Valuer for Securities & Financial Assets and is registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).
He was formerly associated with one of the Big 4 consulting firms.
He has advised many foreign investors in setting-up their operations in India on Corporate tax and international tax matters, Business Valuations, representation / litigation matters, double taxation avoidance agreements.
His experience also covers structuring of secondment of personnel from foreign parent to the Indian subsidiaries, mitigation of permanent establishment exposure and repatriation strategies in respect of Royalties, Fee for technical services, Interest, Dividend payments in terms of the relevant double taxation avoidance agreements and transfer pricing issues.
